	Shayan Rajabi President Shayan Rajabi is a Civil Engineering major and Real Estate Finance minor at San Diego State University. He joined the Real Estate Society in Spring 2010 after witnessing the sheer quality of the group’s meetings and has been actively involved ever since, attending Board of Directors meetings right from the start. He was elected to Programs Co-Chair for Fall 2010 and hopes to help grow the connection with industry professionals and RES while maintaining the high caliber of speakers and case studies that the Real Estate Society delivers to its members. Bringing previous experience from interning at Applied Engineering, Shayan has engaged in a multifaceted education being involved in engineering, construction, and real estate while also a student member of the Urban Land Institute and the Associated General Contractors. He hopes to use these skills and associations along with a strong passion rooted in architecture to pursue a career in real estate development. 	Elizabeth Rowe Vice-President Elizabeth is a Real Estate major and Sustainability and Environmental Studies minor. Her goals upon joining the society as a freshman were to learn about and prepare herself for the real estate industry. RES has met and exceeded her expectations by greatly contributing to her academic and professional growth. She has been able to learn much about the commercial real estate industry, and since studying abroad, has gained an enthusiastic interest for international real estate. As the Career Development co-chair she looks forward to helping our members achieve their own career goals as she helps them get matched up with our available internships. 	Tori Massie Business Development and Treasurer Tori Massie is a Business Administration Management major at San Diego State University. Tori has been a member of the Real Estate Society since 2011 and is excited to grow with its expanding sucess. Tori joined the Board of Directors in Spring of 2011. She is excited to build the relations between members, board of directors, and sponsors through social events, weekly meetings, and case studies to create an organization that members can depend on each other. The Real Estate Society has many opportunities for members to network with each other and professionals. Tori is looking forward to utilize those opportunities in the future so upon graduation in Fall 2012 she is equipped with the resources necessary to enter the real estate industry prepared. 	Chris Liu Social Chair Chris has been with the Real Estate Society since Fall of 2009. He has developed, explored and implemented software at REO specialists as well as KW Realty. Currently, he runs and manages several websites. Hoping to change the way the Real Estate Society is marketed, Chris helped to design a new professional looking website with enhanced functionality proving RES sponsors with a fully searchable database of resumes of current and past RES members, as well as SDSU graduates seeking employment in real estate or real estate related fields. The new website gives sponsors the ability to choose their interns while allowing members to market themselves as a professional. As a real estate major he is striving to make a career for himself as a real estate developer. 	Joe Bonin Business Advisor In 2004,The Real Estate Society of SDSU was born from an idea of two SDSU students, Pat Geary and Joe Anderson and their business advisor Joe Bonin. They dreamed of a club where like minded student could gather and learn from business and real estate industry leaders with the purpose of becoming employed. Out of that concept, The Real Estate Society was started. Since that time, Joe has continued to mentor and consult to RES and together with student leadership, this group has grown form just a few students in year one to a student membership that now approaches 70 students and RES is now considered one of the premier clubs on campus.
