Scholarships

Due to the strategic alliances formed with numerous real estate trade organizations and businesses in San Diego, Real Estate Society members are given the exclusive opportunity to win numerous scholarships only available to Real Estate Society members. The organizations that make this possible include, but are not limited to, The National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP), The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), The Corky McMillin Companies, the Appraisal Institute of San Diego, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), and CCIM. The scholarships are ONLY given to Real Estate Society members and are not advertised through the College of Business, which significantly increases our members’ chances of winning at least one scholarship, if not more.

Scholarships include, but are not limited to, cash scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 per scholarship, as well as free courses taught by top-tier real estate trade associations including the Appraisal Institute, CCIM, IRWA, BOMA and IREM. Scholarship winners receive national recognition in major media. Please contact the Career Development Chair for more information.
