First, we would like to thank you for your support and dedication to The Real Estate Society of San Diego State University (RES). Our organization has quickly become one of the top professional student organizations on the campus of SDSU and we look forward to the continued success this coming year. I have included a list of our accomplishments for your review, as well as a preview of our goals for the coming year.

The mission of RES is to educate students of various career opportunities in the real estate industry and assist with skill assessment and professional development. Through RES, students are able to learn practical business skills and gain exposure to aspects of the real estate industry that are not cultivated in school. Providing weekly meetings, case studies and networking events, RES is dedicated to connecting driven professionals with the professional real estate community.

The synergistic combination of invested time by our members and financial backing by our sponsors has enabled RES to provide unparalleled opportunities to over 500 members since the organization’s inception. This year we are proud to offer a multitude of value-adding options to our sponsors.

When an opening becomes available within your company, our career development team will work with you to make sure you get the position filled quickly with the best possible candidate. Starting Fall 2010, sponsors will have the exclusive ability to log-in to our completely redesigned website and accompanying member resume database. Our resume database will include resumes for current and past RES members, as well as resumes for SDSU alum currently seeking employment in real estate or a real estate related field. The database will be fully searchable by keywords, major, experience level, competencies, areas of interest, and much more. In addition, by prescreening our members we insure that the RES member applying for your position is qualified and ready to excel in that position.
